Use meditation and relaxation exercises on

Saturday, 31 July 2010

Use meditation and relaxation exercises on a daily basis.

Meditation and relaxation have been shown to be very beneficial to treat chronic pain, migraines, hypertension and other chronic illnesses. Relaxing the mind and the body also activates our immune system. Even 10 minutes per day will make an enormous difference. A great way to start is to simply to find a quite and peaceful place, sit back and focus simply on your breath. After one to two minutes start inhaling for 5 seconds, hold the breath for 5 seconds and the exhale for 5 seconds. You can gradually increase the times to 20 seconds. The effects of this Kundalini Yoga breathing meditation are immediate and 5 minutes of this breath replace 30 minutes of sleep. Other great alternatives to relax are self-hypnosis CDs, which directly stimulate the subconscious mind, massages and other body work etc.

8. Give your body proper nutrition and sufficient rest.

Healing occurs when our body is well rested and well nurtured.

BECU Utilizes Axway to Secure Financial Transactions with Trading

0 Comments | Wireless News, Jul 30, 2010

Axway, a business interaction networks company, announced that Boeing Employees’ Credit Union (BECU) is relying on Axway SecureTransport to simply and securely manage financial exchanges.

Axway SecureTransport is a secure, multi-protocol solution that provides BECU with full visibility into transactions with its trading partners while reducing the strain on BECU’s IT department.

BECU, a credit union in Washington state and one of the top five financial cooperatives in the United States, has been serving its members for almost 75 years with current membership of over 650,000. As a credit union, BECU focuses on improving the economic and social well-being of its members. As such, the IT department is always looking to implement solutions that help with efficiencies and provide top value to its membership.

“With increasingly complex financial transfers, it’s imperative that financial institutions find a way to ensure that all monetary exchanges are done in a secure and timely manner,” said Susan Feinberg, senior research director at TowerGroup, a financial services industry analyst firm. “Having visibility into secure financial transactions helps financial institutions not only ensure the safety of their transfers, but helps increase customer satisfaction.”

After finding its existing packaged managed file transfer (MFT) solution to be complex, BECU decided it needed to replace the system

What?s more is that

Friday, 30 July 2010

What?s more is that these aftermarket and OEM products tend to have a certain level of quality akin to that of Porsche. Wheels, car covers, and floor mats for Porsche come from a number of quality aftermarket part and accessory manufacturers like Wheelskins, Coverking, and Lloyd. Floor mats come in different shapes and sizes and can be custom ordered to include the Porsche emblem. Coverking, known for its fine crafted car covers, offers Porsche owners a variety of customization options.

The broad range of aftermarket performance parts available to Porsche owners is also rather impressive. Many suspension options from racing standards such as Bilstein and H&R allow for better handling, increased tire performance and longer intervals between tire swap-outs. Technological advances in chip design from Powerchip and Unichip provide increased horsepower range with increased fuel economy. Freer exhaust flow from companies such as Danske, Borla, and Billy Boat Exhaust supplements chip design and increase the power range while maintaining legal ranges of emitted exhaust.

What?s more, is that this line of quality parts and accessories are available for your Porsche, whether you own a Porsche 911?, Boxster?, Cayenne?, and of course, the highly anticipated Porsche Cayman?.

Yahoo! Real Estate and Zillow.com announce new partnership

Telecomworldwire, July 9, 2010

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-9 July 2010-Yahoo! Real Estate and Zillow.com announce new partnership(C)1994-2010 M2 COMMUNICATIONS http://www.m2.com

Real estate websites Yahoo! Real Estate and Zillow.com announced on Friday an exclusive partnership that will offer advertisers a single channel to reach across both websites later in 2010.

No financial details were disclosed.

According to the companies, the partnership brings together the second-and third-most trafficked real estate websites, making this one of the most powerful and far-reaching real estate ad networks on the web.

As part of the relationship, Zillow will also power all for-sale listings on Yahoo! Real Estate.

Once the integration of Zillow’s more than 4m for-sale listings is complete, consumers using Yahoo! Real Estate will continue to search for homes by geography, price and other criteria. The home shopping experience for Zillow’s users will not change.

Although the partnership is expected to go into effect later in 2010, the companies are immediately coordinating sales efforts for the advertising network.

Upon full implementation, real estate agents and brokers who advertise and place their listings on the sites will receive greater value and simplicity in several ways: the Zillow Premier Agent programme will be extended to Yahoo! Real Estate; for-sale listings placed on Zillow will automatically appear on Yahoo! Real Estate; advertisers who buy Showcase Ads or Featured Listings will automatically have those placed on Yahoo! Real Estate and Zillow; and homeowners will be able to purchase ‘for sale by owner’ listings and have them appear on both sites.

The two companies also expect to work together in the sale of display advertising on Yahoo! Real Estate to new home builders, real estate agents and brokers.

Now let us say that you

Thursday, 29 July 2010

Now let us say that you live in California and some of your loved ones live in Pennsylvania….no problem for VoIP! You can sign up in California for a new number with the same area code as your loved ones have in Pennsylvania and they can now call you as often as they want as if it was a local call for them! I think that you are starting to see that VoIP is great and the possibilities to be creative and save money are great!

Now, let us look at some of the “cons” of VoIP. Don’t worry this list is short! There is a 911(Emergency Call) controversy going on, but 911 is available with all VoIP companies, but with some you might have to give your address for now.

With VoIP you need to have a High Speed internet connection and the reliability of your VoIP system will follow the reliability of your High Speed service provider. So, if your high speed goes down so does your phone system.

West Holmes grads reflect on years of ‘knowledge and hard work’

W. HOLMES DISTRICT–The West Holmes Class of 2010 took a moment to reflect on where they’d been and who has helped shape where they are going Saturday.

In a ceremony where 156 graduates marched to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance,” the five valedictorians credited their teachers, family and friends assembled in the high school gym as a leading force in their lives.

Brant Miller challenged the long-held view that “motivation does fade” when faced with wider support and encouragement.

“I know that for me (it was) the persistent voice of my mother, to stop being a procrastinator,” Miller said. “The students also give motivation. Our class has been an excellent example of this, not stopping at the bare minimum but pushing past the average.”

Bethany Molnar said the school’s mascot of a knight was fitting for her years at West Holmes, as a symbol of “dedication and hard work.”

“Some (things) were harder than others but West Holmes has prepared us for what is awaiting us, even outside these very doors,” Molnar said.

Bryce Norman reminded his classmates that “if a path has no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” He said growing up with his classmates was an enjoyable experience, one where he was at times unaware of their positive influence.

“I had a lot of fun growing up with all of you over the years,” Norman said. “Every person here today has helped shape me, and I thank you very much.”

Annie Jaeb asked her fellow classmates to direct their talents and good will to the people they will meet in the future.

“The majority of us will lead unknown lives. There will be no parades in our honor,” Jaeb said

USAA's Deposit@Mobile Hits Milestones

USAA’s Deposit@Mobile Hits Milestones

0 Comments | Wireless News, Jul 21, 2010

Less than one year from its launch, USAA’s Deposit@Mobile has seen more than 1.5 million checks deposited from a mobile device, totaling more than $928 million.

USAA Federal Savings Bank, which has only one teller-supported branch, located in San Antonio, has seen more than one-third (35 percent) of all checks deposited into accounts using remote deposit capture, where an image of the check is sent directly to the bank from a remote location.

“Nobody wants to take valuable time to drive to the bank and stand in line to deposit a check,” said USAA Federal Savings Bank President David Bohne. “With Deposit@Mobile, it takes less than two minutes to deposit a check at anytime and from anyplace.”

USAA was the first to offer remote deposit capture for its bank customers. In 2007, the bank revolutionized consumer banking with Deposit@Home, which allows customers to deposit checks using their personal scanners at home.

When USAA released Deposit@Mobile last August, it changed the way consumers think about depositing checks, enabling them to take photos of checks with an iPhone or Android mobile device and send the image of the check to the bank via wireless connection. The bank has seen a weekly average of 50,000 checks and $30 million deposited with Deposit@Mobile
